Being a 3rd grade teacher is such a rewarding experience. It’s a year full of transitions, growth, and new learning opportunities, and I’m excited to guide and support students every step of the way.
I am originally from Natchitoches, Louisiana and later moved to Lafayette, where I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In 2016, I relocated to Houston, where I've continued to grow both personally and professionally.
In my previous district, I served as a Sheltered Instruction Coach and Teacher Specialist, gaining invaluable experience in supporting diverse learners. Since 2018, I've been dedicated to teaching English Language Arts, with a particular focus on grades 3-5.
Teaching is not just a profession for me; it's a passion. I am committed to creating positive learning experiences for all my students, ensuring they thrive academically and personally.
When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, our baby, and our two dogs. I also love exploring new restaurants and traveling to new places.
Let's make this year one of discovery, learning, and fun!
