Hi, I'm Jennifer Fountain, and I'm proud to be in my eighth-year teaching first grade at Ferndell Henry Elementary. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. I've cherished every moment since becoming a teacher 
in helping young learners grow and thrive.

One of my greatest joys as a teacher is guiding children as they discover the magic of reading. My goal is for every student to fall in love with books and become a lifelong reader. I strive to create a warm, supportive classroom where curiosity is encouraged and every 
child feels confident to explore and learn.

Outside of school, I'm happily married and a proud mother to my three amazing kids—ages 12, 15, and 17. I find peace and inspiration in nature, especially when traveling to the mountains or relaxing by the beach. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, biking, and swimming—activities that help me recharge and stay active. Teaching is more than a profession to me—it's a calling. I'm grateful every day for the opportunity to guide and support my students on their learning journey.
