7th grade Assistant Principal- Robin Gray
Hi, I’m Ms. Gray. I am honored and humbled to serve as the 7th-grade Assistant Principal at Sartartia Middle School 24-25 school year. I look forward to building relationships with the students, community, staff, and businesses within the community. I am eager to serve alongside Mrs. Oglesby, Dr. Johnson, and Mrs. Garza as we strive for academic and social excellence!
I have lived in Houston for more than twenty years. I am a native Arkansan who enjoys the feel of a small-town community. I obtained my Bachelor of Science- Early Childhood Education degree at The University of Central Arkansas. I then attended the University of Houston-Victoria and received a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision. I began my educational career at Dulles Elementary in Fort Bend ISD in 2002 with hopes of impacting children’s lives positively. I have served as an educator here in Fort Bend ISD for the duration of my professional career. I have contributed in various capacities beginning as a teacher, science specialist, and math specialist/interventionist/coach. Most recently, I served as the Assistant Principal for Juan Seguin Elementary. The 2024-2025 school year begins my 23rd year as an educator in Fort Bend ISD.
Coming from humble beginnings, my passion is to never stop learning and to never stop growing. I am truly dedicated to the passion of each student and staff by encouraging a joy for and love of learning. As an educator and a parent of my 18-year-old daughter, I aim to advocate for our students and collaborate with families to ensure we meet all student’s social-emotional and academic needs.
I have three core beliefs that ground me as an educator. “My first belief is that all children can learn and succeed when provided the environment, resources, support, and educators needed to do so. Second, I believe that our teachers should be valued, supported, and equipped with opportunities to grow in their craft. Lastly, I’m passionate that all community members play a vital role in the overall success of our campus. It will take a village to achieve our goals and deliver quality education to our students.” I look forward to this journey of growing our partnership to ensure growth with each student and family. The students of SMS are the future, and our collaborative efforts will ensure their success.
