I am Lauren Crittenden and I teach 5th grade Science and Social Studies. I have been teaching at Colony Bend Elementary School since 2004 and have been on the fifth grade team since 2005.

I am a product of Fort Bend ISD, attending schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade.  I attended Texas Southern University and finished with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology: Construction Management.  I later received my teacher certification from the ACT Houston Alternative Certification Program.  I am currently certified as an EC through 8th grade Generalist and in the area of ESL. 

I am the 5th grade team leader and often serve as a new teacher mentor for our campus.   I am also the Coding Club and Broadcasting Sponsor for our campus. I have had the honor of serving as our Campus Teacher of the Year for the 2010, 2017, and 2024 school years.
