Welcome to FLASH! My name is Courtney Muschalik, and I am one of the FLASH teachers here at Colony Bend. I have been working in education since 2007.  I graduated from the University of Texas-San Antonio with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and received my Masters degree from Capella University in Special Education.  My mom was also a SPED teacher, and watching her work with her students inspired me to become a teacher. I am passionate about creating meaningful and engaging experiences for every student that enters my classroom. 

When I am not working, my husband and I enjoy traveling, gardening, and playing with our 2 dogs. We have one awesome son, who will be entering the Houston Fire Academy.
