Welcome to Literacy Lab! I am so excited to be your child’s literacy teacher. I am entering my 26^th year in education; however, this will be my first year at Ronald Thornton Middle School.  Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with students at various grade levels, and I am passionate about guiding middle school students as they grow into confident, thoughtful readers and writers. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping students discover their own passion for reading and seeing how books and fascinating short stories can open doors to new perspectives and possibilities. We are going to have an awesome school year!
