Hello!
My name is Macey Bell, and I’m so excited to be teaching 2nd grade English Language Arts and Social Studies at Heritage Rose Elementary this year! I have a huge heart for working with young learners and love creating a classroom where every student feels safe, supported, and excited to learn.

I graduated from Columbia High School and earned my Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University (Gig ’em!). While at A&M, I was involved in MORPH — a student organization dedicated to serving and supporting children and families in the foster care community. That experience deeply shaped my values as an educator and strengthened my commitment to advocacy, empathy, and equity in the classroom.

My Teaching Style

I believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and capable. In my classroom, I aim to:

• Build strong reading and thinking skills that students will carry with them for life

• Spark curiosity through hands-on, engaging lessons

• Create a space where kids know it’s okay to make mistakes, take risks, and keep growing

More About Me

With experience teaching in kindergarten, first grade, and now second grade, I’ve developed a deep love for curriculum design and educational technology. I'm always exploring new ways to make learning meaningful and engaging, and I’m passionate about helping students build strong academic skills while fostering their love for learning.

This is my third year teaching and my second year at Heritage Rose Elementary. I’m so proud to be part of the HRE family, and I can’t wait for all the learning, laughs, and growth this year will bring!
