My name is Sarah Dancer, and I am so happy to be teaching at Settlers Way Elementary! This is my fifth year as a special education resource teacher here at SWE. This year my focus is working with 4th and 5th grade students primarily.

As someone who grew up in diverse cities across the United States, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing a wide range of perspectives and cultures. These experiences have profoundly shaped who I am today.

I am a proud graduate of the University of Houston, and currently I am pursuing my masters in clinical mental health counseling.

My passion for teaching is driven by a commitment to inspiring children to embrace lifelong learning. Outside the classroom, I love immersing myself in music and podcasts, staying active, exploring new places, and cherishing moments with my fur family.
