Hello,

I’m the creative, outgoing, and inspiring fifth grade teacher. I am proud to call Armstrong Elementary my home. I’ve been with the district for eight years and going on fours at Armstrong. I received my BA in Liberal Arts in 2010 and Master of Education in Special Education/Early Learning Education in 2016. Prior to teaching, I worked three years at The New School University -New York, NY and eleven years at University of Houston -Houston, TX.   I’ve been in the educational field since 1991 and it’s been a pleasure to serve and help others pursue their educational careers.

While I’m not teaching, I’m spending quality time with my beautiful son and daughter, reading, and utilizing my creative writing skills to write inspiring poems, short stories, and do all I can to help those in need. I tutor and mentor adolescents how to craft their talents, write, and achieve their goals. Nothing gives me strength more than teaching, helping, and inspiring others.
