Welcome Panthers! I am Melanie Blain-Tannous, a proud Houstonian and fan of all Houston sports. I am an experienced school counselor and educator with a strong background in academic and personal development across elementary, high school, and graduate settings holding a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Houston and a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Houston-Victoria and certifications in Texas School Counseling and Secondary Social Studies. In my spare time I enjoy walking, traveling, and spending time with my family and pets. My three children are also proud graduates of FBISD schools.
