Hello and welcome! My name is Leonardo Morales, and I’m thrilled to be your child’s art teacher. I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Ponce, Puerto Rico. In May 2016, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico (PUCPR). Just a few months later, I made the exciting decision to move to Texas to pursue a career in education. I now proudly call Houston home.

My journey in education began as a substitute teacher in Alief ISD. Shortly afterward, I joined Fort Bend ISD as a Physical Education aide. During the 2017–2018 school year, I was given the wonderful opportunity to become a full-time art teacher—an experience that continues to inspire me every day. I joined the TWE family in the 2019–2020 school year and have loved being part of this community ever since.

Art has always played an important role in my life. From middle school to college, I was that student constantly doodling in my notebook. I believe that art is not only a powerful form of self-expression but also a vital tool for children to build confidence, develop creativity, and discover what they’re capable of achieving.

My goal is to nurture your child’s passion for the arts and support their creative growth. I’m excited to guide them as they bring their ideas to life and grow into the best artists they can be.
