Your child will need to be picked up from school if the following symptoms develop:

Fever of 100.0°F or higher (must be fever free for 24 hours to return to school, without fever reducing medication)

Vomiting/Diarrhea (must be vomit/diarrhea free for 24 hours to return to school)

Symptoms of a communicable disease, such as an undetermined rash*

Child feels too ill to remain at school

Persistent, unrelieved cough

Live head lice 

When returning to school after an illness, the student must bring a note from the parent/guardian or physician explaining their absence(s).

*Students with conditions requiring a physician’s release to re-enter school must take that note to the school nurse before going to class.
