Gifted and Talented at Barrington Place Elementary School

  • Identified students in grades K-5 are cluster-grouped with GT-trained teachers in the core subject areas of English language arts, social studies, science, and mathematics.  Program services for identified Kindergarten students begin March 1 as mandated by the state.

District-Wide GT Announcements

  • The Fall GT Referral Window is now open.  Parents may refer their child through the GT App with the student's FBISD ID number.  The deadline for referral is September 30, 2025.

    The GT Department is aware that the GT App referral portal is experiencing technical issues.  Please be patient as we work through this issue with our technology team.
