    Highlands Elementary opened its doors in the fall of 1986 with approximately 450 students. Over the years, the school's community has grown and for the current school year, the estimated student enrollment is slightly above 600.
     
    Currently, the administrative team consists of Mrs. Angela Dow, Principal, and Mrs. Theresa Bathe, Assistant Principal. Both leaders are very excited about the upcoming school year and are spending the summer months putting data-driven, academic plans in place which are intended to benefit all student learners while at the same time, ensuring that Highlands maintains its warm, child-centered atmosphere.
     
    Mrs. Dow, Mrs. Bathe, and the entire faculty and staff at Highlands Elementary School remains committed to meeting the needs of ALL learners, elevating academic achievement and ensuring student success.
