Welcome to 5th grade! I look forward to being your ELA/Social Studies teacher this school year. I'm starting my 30th year of teaching, my 23rd here as a Commonwealth Cougar!! I LOVE to have fun with my classes and tell all kinds of silly stories.  I am also coaching Girls on the Run again this year.  I have two grown children (who both went to Commonwealth, Fort Settlement, and Clements), and two dogs.  Madeline (Cardiac RN), Drew (Field Engineer), Ranger and his little sister Maisie (both naughty Wire Fox Terriers).  When I am not at school, you can find me out in the neighborhood walking my dogs, baking yummy desserts, shopping, or traveling with friends or visiting family. I can't wait to meet you!!! You will LOVE 5th grade!
