Welcome to Third Grade!

Hi there! I’m so excited to be your child’s Language Arts and Social Studies teacher this year. I’ve had the privilege of working in Fort Bend ISD as both a teacher and a school counselor, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be back at Commonwealth Elementary—my home from 2003 to 2021. My heart has always been in the classroom, and I’m so grateful to return to such a special place.

Before moving to Sugar Land in 8th grade, I lived in Hong Kong and Indonesia, where I attended international schools. Those experiences deeply shaped who I am and gave me a lifelong appreciation for diversity—something I see reflected every day at CWE.

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my family, traveling, reading, binge watching shows, and relaxing with my dog Lemon.

I’m looking forward to a fantastic year full of learning, growth, and fun in third grade!
