It is my privilege to teach at FSMS!  I began teaching in 2007 and have proudly been part of the Fort family since 2012. I received my B.S. in Accounting from Virginia Tech, and after many years in finance and accounting, I followed my heart into education - and have never looked back.  My wonderful husband and I have three boys, all proud alumni of CWE, FSMS, and CHS. When I'm not in the classroom, you'll often find me hiking, biking, kayaking or creating new math challenges.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year and to helping our students take ownership of their learning.  Every student's academic growth and success is my top priority, and I am dedicated to fostering an environment where each student feels supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their personal best. Falcons don't just fly..... THEY SOAR!
