Ms. Karen Staley

I am the department chair for Science and I teach Pre-AP Biology and 8th grade science here at the Fort.  I opened FSMS in 2001; it is a great school, and I love working here. I am in my 29th year of teaching, 28 of those years have been in FBISD.  Science is my passion and working with students to advance young minds in the direction of science and engineering is very important to me.

 

I have a BSE in Biology and Kiniesiology/Physical Education and a Masters in Environmental Science (management and sustainability).
