Mrs. Katrice Wright-Richards M. Ed

Welcome! I'm Katrice Wright-Richards, an enthusiastic educator at Missouri City Middle School, where I teach 6th–8th grade students in the Verizon Innovative Learning Lab. With five rewarding years of experience teaching Math, I now lead students through hands-on, future-ready learning in innovation and technology.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Child Development from the University of Houston and earned my Master’s in Digital Learning and Leadership from Lamar University in 2021. As a loving wife and proud mother, I bring both heart and purpose to my teaching.

I actively support our campus AVID program, helping students build the skills they need for college and career success. As a former Technology Integration Champion for Missouri City and FBISD (2018–2022), I’m committed to preparing students for the real world by fostering a growth mindset and encouraging them to embrace challenges as opportunities.

My teaching philosophy centers on empowering students to believe in their potential. I strive to create a classroom culture where curiosity is celebrated, mistakes are viewed as stepping stones to success, and every student feels seen, heard, and valued. I believe that when students are equipped with confidence, critical thinking skills, and a sense of purpose, they can achieve anything.

This will be the year of GREATNESS!

The best view comes after the most challenging climb!
