Hi! I am Dr. Madelyn Odums, The AVID Teacher Coordinator at Missouri City Middle School. I have 19 years of experience in education and much of it has been working with middle schoolers. I graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree. I obtained my Masters in Education, and I completed my doctoral studies at Houston Christian University. I am a lifelong learner and I encourage my students, colleagues, and peers to always position themselves to learn. The campus focus for the year is "pursuing excellence," so in AVID our goal will be to work hard at achieving excellence. We believe that everyone CAN!
