Logan Dsouza

A member of the KHS Class of 2027, Logan F. Dsouza is highly involved in school organizations such as English Honor Society, Psi Alpha, and Rho Kappa, while also challenging herself academically through AP coursework. Through her involvement in academics and extracurricular activities, she has received several honors, including earning a 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Gold Key in the Harris County region as well as a 2025 Silver Key award. Outside of school, Logan enjoys volunteering through the Sunday Lead Minister Program at St. Theresa Catholic Church, where she helps younger teenagers grow in their faith while building a stronger sense of community and leadership.
As part of her AP Capstone project, Logan studied what Kempner High School could best do to reduce teen vaping, specifically comparing morality-based and health-based prevention strategies and their effect on student perceptions. She especially enjoyed analyzing student responses and exploring how different prevention methods may influence attitudes toward vaping. In the future, Logan plans to pursue the pre-med pathway and study within the medical field as she works toward a career focused on healthcare and helping others.
