Mrs. Matthew

Mrs. Matthew is a seasoned educator, community advocate, and youth mentor with over two decades of experience in elementary education. A proud graduate of the University of Houston–Downtown, she also holds an MBA in Marketing—blending academic rigor with creative strategy to inspire innovation in the classroom.

Throughout her teaching journey in Kindergarten through fourth grade, Mrs. Matthew has fostered curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning in her students. Her passion for education extends beyond the classroom, where she is dedicated to empowering young leaders and strengthening community connections.

She serves as the Parent Liaison for Leaders of Tomorrow, the youth leadership initiative under the National Black MBA Association – Houston Chapter, mentoring and equipping students to become future changemakers. Mrs. Matthew is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and a devoted participant at The Fountain of Praise, embodying her commitment to sisterhood, faith, and service.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, traveling, decorating, and spending quality time with her husband and three children. Mrs. Matthew’s life and career reflect her belief in purpose-driven living—where family, education, and service come together to create a lasting legacy of impact.
