Blake Wilson

Hello,

I am Blake A. Wilson, the newly appointed Associate Principal at Missouri City Middle School. I am a proud native of Birmingham, Alabama, who has demonstrated my commitment and growth in the education sector, starting from a long-term substitute and now as an Associate Principal, all within the last 12 years.

After graduating from high school, I enrolled at Alabama State University, earning my Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Legal Studies. While interning during my junior year,  I became a high school math tutor, which sparked a hidden interest in the teaching and learning process and my passion for educating the youth. In the Spring of 2013, I shifted my career aspirations from wanting to be a corporate attorney to being an educator through the Teach for America Program. I began teaching as a mathematics and business education teacher at P.D. Jackson Olin High School and Hueytown High School in Alabama, as well as Lamar International Baccalaureate High School in the Houston Independent School District. In 2021, I joined the Fort Bend ISD Family as an Assistant Principal at Christa McAuliffe Middle School and Lake Olympia Middle School, respectively.

I am excited and optimistic about joining the Cougar family!
