My name is Dora Gonzalez Alpizar, your 2nd Grade Bilingual Teacher. I am originally from Cuba, where I graduated from medical school before moving to the U.S. I started teaching in Houston ISD, and now, 11 years later, I am just as excited as ever to be in the classroom. I love helping kids grow, celebrating our languages and cultures, and making learning fun. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am excited to bring my love for learning to our amazing school. We will work together with our students, families, and staff to make this an unforgettable year.
