Nazi Death Camp Project
The purpose of this project is to gain a better understanding of Nazi Death Camps, with your focus on one. The Nazis established six Death Camps across Europe: Auschwitz, Belzec, Chelmno, Majdanek, Sobibor, and Treblinka. In a group, you will choose/be assigned one of them. You will research and discuss the following:
- Specific location of the camp
- Layout of the camp
- When was it opened and closed?
- Type of people sent here.
- Who were the commandants?
- How/method were people exterminated?
- Medical experiments
- Liberators
- What other things made this camp unique?
Using this information, you will create a physical, not electronic, presentation (tri-fold, model, other approved options) of this camp. This research you have done should be included in your presentation.
