Welcome to Project Manhood
Empowering Young Men to Lead, Achieve, and Thrive
At Missouri City Middle School, Project Manhood is more than just a program — it is a movement dedicated to the holistic development of each male student. Rooted in the values of honor, discipline, and academic excellence, Project Manhood prepares young men to embody the District’s Profile of a Graduate by equipping them with the character, skills, and mindset needed for lifelong success.
Our mission is to develop character and integrity by instilling the importance of self-respect, respect for educators, and respect for all adults. We strive to inspire and awaken dreams and aspirations in every participant, empowering them to rise above challenges and become leaders in their communities.
Through education, exposure, and empowerment, our young men gain access to enrichment opportunities and real-world learning experiences designed to build effective coping skills, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities. Project Manhood fosters growth through male mentorship, leadership development, and culturally relevant programming that emphasizes academic accountability, emotional intelligence, and social awareness.
We imagine a school culture where honor is restored, and where young men take pride in their potential. By addressing discipline and attendance, and supporting academic growth, we guide our students toward becoming engaged global citizens who are aware of their roles in society and the world.
Our vision is to develop future high school and college graduates, equipped and encouraged to explore STEM pathways, post-secondary education, and diverse career fields.
Project Manhood is where boys become scholars, leaders, and changemakers — transforming not only their lives but also the communities they serve.
