The 2025-26 school year is one that is filled with excitement as this is a milestone year for me - my 20th year as an educator!  This will be my third school year in the role of ELAR instructional coach after 17 years as a classroom teacher. In this role, I will be supporting teachers in the English department to ensure that students receive the best instruction that will help them to reach their fullest potential.

I am a proud native of Louisiana! With a Bachelor's degree in English from University of Louisiana - Lafayette, Master's in Secondary Education, and a principal certification from Lamar University, I am a true educator. I love what I do. I hold certifications in 4-12 English Language Arts and Reading, 4-12 English as a Second Language, and Principal as an Instructional Leader. 

Of all my accomplishments, the thing that I am most proud of is being a mother to my one daughter who earning a degree in Early Childhood Education.
