Hello TWE Texans,

My name is Jaishubha Rao and this is my fourth year at Townewest Elementary and seventh year in education. I served at Katy ISD prior to joining Fort Bend ISD. I am thrilled to be part of our amazing TWE family! I have had the privilege of working with creative young minds, and I am very enthusiastic about starting this year with your child. I believe in fostering a growth mindset and making learning engaging and interactive along with social emotional learning. I firmly believe that every student has the potential to excel when provided with the right tools, encouragement, and a positive and safe learning environment. I am committed to nurturing a love for lifelong learning among students and preparing them for their future success.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, running, traveling, and volunteering in my community. I am a proud mom of two beautiful children, who are scouts.

I look forward to getting to know each of my students, fostering a collaborative learning environment, building their self-confidence and helping them reach their full potential. Together, we are a family and ready to embark on an exciting educational journey!
