It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the Assistant Principal for alpha split Shak-Z. My belief is that students grow and achieve more when they are surrounded by involved and compassionate adults both in and out of school. Here at Travis, all of our faculty members provide every student with an extraordinary level of care and support. 

As a classroom teacher, I had the pleasure of teaching various Social Studies disciplines (Economics, Government, Texas History, U.S. History, World Geography and World History) in Fort Bend ISD and Houston ISD. I have also served as a Social Studies Instructional Coach within the district as well. Being an Instructional Coach, gave me the ability to work with teachers to ensure that we provide quality instruction while maximizing every student’s full potential. As an Assistant Principal, I take great pride in ensuring that our students receive proper, rigorous and equitable instruction they deserve.

As the saying goes, “it takes a village to raise a child,” and I could not agree more. It is an honor and a dream come true to serve the same community that helped raise me. I look forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure that we inspire and equip all of our students to pursue a future beyond what they can imagine.
