I am truly honored for the opportunity to serve as an Assistant Principal at Travis High School. I grew up around this area in Sugar Land and Stafford, and I am beginning my 27th year in education. Before becoming an administrator, I coached and taught English for 26 years. I received my bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University (Eat 'em Up Kats!) and my master’s degree from Lamar University. 

I enjoy barbecuing, traveling, and spending time with my family. Fun fact, I am an original Tiger and worked here when the school opened in 2006. This will be my 11th year at Travis, although I left for a short time in the middle. I really enjoy the staff camaraderie and the family atmosphere we have here at Travis. In fact, my daughter is a Class of 2024 Travis graduate. It’s a GREAT day to be a Travis Tiger!
