Hi, thanks for taking the time to read a little bit about me...

I grew up in Alabama and graduated from the University of Alabama in 1990. After graduation, I was commissioned in the US Army and served in Germany and at Ft. Campbell, KY. In 1995, I left active duty and moved to Houston where I attended graduate school, receiving my MBA in 1999. During the next 13 years, I worked in Quality Assurance, Operations, and Finance for international companies in the financial and commercial marketing sectors.  This will be my 14th year of teaching high school science.

I have three children (Katy - 31, Reid -27, and Graham -19) who keep me busy with their activities. We love to go scuba diving, kayaking, biking, swimming, and playing with our two dogs.

My hobbies/interests include: running, biking, swimming, weight lifting, gardening, kayaking, scuba diving, and watching college football. During my time in the military, I also learned to jump out of airplanes (airborne) and jump out of helicopters (air assault), both were awesome experiences.

I am excited to teach your child(ren) this year and welcome any questions/thoughts that you may have.
