• EnviroTech Learning Lab program at Hodges Bend Middle School

An immersive, inquiry-driven environmental science institute that trains students as field scientists and civic problem-solvers. At Hodges Bend, students conduct authentic research and lead sustainability initiatives—running grade-level gardens, managing a greenhouse and Ecolab, and conducting water and soil monitoring—to deliver measurable community impact through student-designed sustainability projects. The program emphasizes applied engineering, citizen science, and civic engagement; capstones address real local environmental problems and generate tangible community benefit.
