Mrs. Bridgette Jackson Lindsey

I’ve been a proud member of the beauty industry for over 25 years, and my journey has taken me in so many exciting directions. After graduating from the Cosmetology program at Visible Changes University, I joined an incredible team of stylists where I trained, worked, and taught for over 18 years. During that time, I also studied Business Management at Prairie View A&M University, which gave me a strong foundation in the business side of beauty.

My passion for this industry eventually led me back into the salon full-time, where my creativity and skills were nurtured and refined. I’ve traveled the country as a Platform Artist for P Element product company, sharing education and inspiration with fellow professionals. I’ve done just about everything there is to do in a salon, from cleaning shampoo bowls to organizing promotional photo shoots, managing stylists, and even owning my own salon. Today, when I'm not in the classroom, I continue to work behind the chair, staying connected to the craft and the clients who keep me inspired.

Along the way, I earned my Class A Barber License from Mystro’s Barber Academy, expanding my skill set and deepening my understanding of the industry. I also earned a Cosmetology Instructor’s License from Houston Community College where I was an Adjunct Professor in the Cosmetology Department and a TEA Teaching Certification for Industry and Trade, which allow me to bring real-world experience and professional insight into the classroom.

I'm currently completing my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Houston Downtown, continuing to grow both personally and professionally. Teaching has truly become a passion of mine, and I’m committed to helping shape the next generation of beauty professionals by showing them the right way from day one.

When I’m not working or teaching, I spend as much time as possible with my husband and our three kids. If they’re not keeping me busy running around the city for events and errands, I love to cook, binge-watch Netflix, and just create.
