James Patterson Elementary

My name is Debbie Jones and I am proud to call Cornerstone Elementary my  home! I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Sam Houston State University in 1991 and my graduate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston in 2012. I have been an educator since 1991.  Throughout my career I have had the privilege of teaching Kindergarten, 2^nd grade and 3^rd grade.  I have also worked in the curriculum department as a district elementary math helping teacher. My role as the math specialist allows me the opportunity to work with students as well as collaborate daily with Kindergarten through 5^th grade math teachers regarding the delivery of the math instruction and assist in deepening their math content knowledge.
