I am excited to be a part of the Sparklers family and serve as the Math Specialist at Sugar Mill Elementary.  I am a veteran educator with all of my experience at Fort Bend ISD.  I firmly believe that educating students is my highest honor.  My career in education began at Mission Bend Elementary as a classroom teacher.   After teaching for 14 years, I stepped into leadership by serving as a math specialist.  This role allows me the opportunity to exemplify my commitment to students, parents and stakeholders.  I believe that it is my responsibility to ensure that every student that walks into Sugar Mill Elementary feels valued, is challenged and truly believes that nothing is out of their reach. 

I am a native Texan and a proud Army Brat.  I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) and my post-graduate degree from Concordia University, Texas.  I am blessed to be a wife and the mother of an amazing son!  I love spending quality time with my family and friends.
