Mrs. Zhang,Yi

Hello! My name is Yi Zhang. 

With a diverse educational background in Engineering, Computer Information Systems and Physics, I bring a multidisciplinary approach to teaching. I have over 20 years of experience educating students in Chemistry and Computer Science across various levels, including AP, AAC and On-level courses. This year will be my ninth year at Elkin High School. 

I am passionate about working with students and dedicated to helping them reach their academic goals. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering curiosity , encouraging critical thinking, and building a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, ask questions and grow both academically and personally.
