Counselor for: A-Blu, 9th-12th Grade
I am grateful to be a part of the THS family for the 2nd year. I bring with me 9 years of educational experience, including teaching, advanced academics, and school counseling. Prior to education I was involved in Social Work where I worked closely with children in foster care, foster parents, and families. My career background has given me experiences working with diverse populations of students and families overcoming a variety of challenges, and I have learned something meaningful from each of them.
I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama, but moved to the Houston area in 2016. I am married to my best friend, Jason, and we have one spoiled rescue dog named Finley.
I consider myself a servant leader and love partnering with school staff, parents, and community members to help students reach their goals. I am looking forward to working with you all this year.

Cheryl Clark, M.A.
Counselor for: Ki-Mor, 9th-12th grade
My name is Cheryl Clark and I am the counselor for students with the last names starting with Ki to Mor. I earned my Bachelors degree in Behavioral Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. I started my teaching career working with Pre Kindergarten students and, while I enjoyed many years working with young students, I decided to make the move to high-school in 2014. I began working at Travis High School in the Special Education department and served three years as the Department Chair. During this time I earned my Masters Degree in School Counseling from Houston Baptist University. I absolutely love teaching, but I am truly excited to serve students outside of the classroom as a member of the Counseling Team at Travis High School. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, and traveling. I look forward to working with all of my students this school year.

Hi Tigers!
My name is Brittany Stephenson. I am a Fort Bend ISD graduate (Dulles High School, c/o 2010). Although an original Viking, I am so excited to be here in Tiger country. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Musical Theatre from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, TX. After graduating from college, I began teaching Theatre in the Fort Worth area until I was offered a position back in my old stomping grounds, Dulles Middle School. After teaching Theatre, Teen Leadership and coaching cheer there- I made my way to Sartartia Middle School as I entered and completed Texas A&M’s Masters of Education Program in Educational Psychology. Immediately following graduation in 2020, I was lucky enough to be picked up by THS as a brand new counselor. In my free time I still perform professionally in the area as well as spend time with family, friends, and my two puppies- Jules and Waylon.
I strongly believe in student’s ability to make goals, strive toward them and achieve while also taking care of their mental health in the process. I am so excited to serve as a counselor here at Travis and hope to see all of my students so soon!
