Stefanie Roach, Assistant Principal

  •  Stefanie Roach

Ms. Roach is excited to begin her 27th year as an educator. During her career she worked in Spring Branch ISD, Lamar CISD, Hartland Public Schools in Michigan, and now FBISD.

Ms. Roach came to Texas after receiving her B.A. from Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, IN. While there, she spent a year in Angers, France, attending a French University with other Notre Dame and Saint Mary’s peers. Her passion for learning a second language encouraged her to pursue her M.A. from the University of Saint Thomas in Houston, in the areas of the Supervision of Bilingual/ESL Education and Leadership. She returned to the field of Education, after having spent four years being the full-time CEO of her home. Her love of students and the enjoyment received from “campus life” led her back to the elementary school setting.

Ms. Roach is a wife and mother to one daughter and several Siberian Huskies. In her free time, she loves to spend family time outdoors camping, skiing, traveling the world and watching sunsets. She feels completely honored to work at Anne Sullivan and truly looks forward to meeting every Dalmatian child and family!

Anagha Machado, Assistant Principal

  • Assistant Principal

Hello ASE Families!  My name is Anagha Machado and I have been an assistant principal at Anne Sullivan Elementary since 2020.

This year marks the beginning of my 21st year in education.  I began my career with Houston ISD, where I taught second grade and kindergarten for 9 years.  I moved to Fort Bend ISD in 2013 and worked at Mission West Elementary for four years as a first grade and fourth grade ELA/SS teacher.  In 2017, I served as the Reading Specialist at Colony Bend Elementary.  After 3 years at CBE, I am excited to now be at ASE serving the Dalmatian Nation.

I hold a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from The University of Houston with a double major in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Asian Studies.  I began my career as a tax accountant but quickly found my way back to my true passion:  teaching.  I continued my education at Houston Baptist University where I received my Master’s in Educational Administration.

I am married and have two children.  My husband also works in FBISD.  We have been married for 17 years and have two beautiful sons.  When not working, I am a soccer mom who also enjoys baking and reading.  You will frequently find me on a soccer field cheering for my boys or curled up with a good book.  I look forward to working with our Dalmatians and their families!

I can be reached at Anagha.Machado@fortbendisd.gov or  281-327-2866.
