Welcome to first grade!

In first grade, we are instilling the love of reading and writing, and nurturing problem solving so they will become lifelong learners. Because we believe that the parent and teacher partnership is vital to your child’s success, we want to be available to discuss your child’s successes. Our conference times for first grade are Monday – Friday from 12:30-1:15. You may also schedule a time after school by e-mailing your child’s teacher at the e-mail listed on this webpage. Please let your child’s teacher know in advance if you would like to schedule a conference.

Recess is from 10:00-10:30
Lunch is from 10:30 - 11:00

Please have your child read, write, and practice their math facts every night.
