Greetings Huskies! I am thrilled and honored to be the principal of Carolyn and Vernon Madden Elementary. I have had the great privilege of being in Fort Bend ISD my entire career.  I have had various roles throughout my journey, including teacher, assistant principal, Director of Literacy, and principal.  Campus leadership is my passion, and I am honored to be the principal of such an outstanding school.  

I grew up right down the road in Pecan Grove. I graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School and then received my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University. I received my Masters of Educational Leadership from the University of Houston. 

It is my belief that parents, the community and the school must collaborate together to ensure the success of all students. These strong relationships are the foundation to a successful school. Please feel free to share any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions with me. I am very excited to serve the community as the principal of Madden Elementary.

Being an assistant principal in Husky Territory is a big honor for me. I believe that educators need to form alliances with the community at large to deliver meaningful learning experiences that assist in molding our kids into global citizens of change. I was born in Pakistan and raised in Houston, so I am aware of what it means to be a multiethnic person in a world that is continuously evolving.

I am blessed with a beautiful family of four children and a very supportive husband. I earned my BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from UH-Victoria and my M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from UH-Clear Lake.

I'm thrilled for another incredible year, and I hope that together we can continue to make learning an everlasting experience that can bring about positive change in our world. Go Huskies!

My name is Hannah Hammond, and I am incredibly honored and grateful to serve as one of the assistant principals at Madden Elementary—my home where I began my teaching career in 2015 and the place that has shaped me into the educator I am today. As a proud product of Fort Bend ISD, I’m especially thankful for the opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape my own educational journey.

I earned my degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston. 

It is a privilege to work at such an extraordinary school where students and staff are challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential every single day. I am deeply passionate about building strong, collaborative relationships with all stakeholders to ensure students not only grow academically but also genuinely enjoy coming to school each day.

It’s a joy to serve such a dedicated school, and I can’t wait to see all that our Madden Huskies accomplish this year!
