Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan Masters of Education from Houston Baptist (Christian) University

Ms. Roberta LaValley

My office is located inside the library in Room B112, with hours aligned to the library’s schedule. Appointments outside of these times may be arranged via email.

I began my career in education as a social studies teacher and department head at Dulles Middle School, where I served for thirteen years before transitioning into the role of Campus Assessment Coordinator. For the past seventeen years, I have continued in this role at Dulles, dedicating my career to supporting student learning and success in Fort Bend ISD. My journey with the district began in 1995, when I was recruited from Eastern Michigan University. In 2002, I earned a Master’s in Education from Houston Christian University with a specialization in instructional development.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends exploring new places around the Houston area. I am an avid Astros fan and can often be found cheering them on during their World Series runs. During school breaks, I love traveling across the country to visit national parks.

I am here to support students, families, and staff with STAAR End of Course (EOC), PSAT, SAT, and ACT testing and interventions. Please feel free to reach out to me at roberta.lavalley@fortbendisd.gov or 281-634-2306 with any questions, or to request SAT/ACT fee waivers.
