    Letters About Literature Contest


    Calling all 4th and 5th grade readers and writers! The Letters About Literature Contest encourages students to write a heartfelt letter to an author whose work has inspired them.

     

    Prizes:

    • 1st Place: $300 + $300 library grant + $400 travel stipend to attend the Texas Library Association Annual Conference in Houston (March 2026)
    • 2nd Place: $200
    • 3rd Place: $100
      First-place winners will be recognized at the conference!
