Willowridge High School 2025-26 STUCO Elections

Are you ready to lead, serve, and make a difference at Willowridge High School? Student Council (STUCO) elections for the 2025-26 school year are here! If you’re passionate about leadership and want to be a voice for your peers, now is your chance to run for office.

Important Dates: ✨ Election Packets Due: April 17, 2025 ✨ Elections Held: April 28, 2025 (via SchooLinks)

Election Requirements: To be eligible to run for a STUCO position, students must:

✅ Have no failing grades on their T3 report card

 ✅ Submit a completed application by the deadline

✅ Provide two teacher recommendations

✅ Write a three-paragraph candidate essay

✅ Pay the $35 STUCO fee (includes a STUCO T-shirt) – Due by May 23, 2025

Available Positions:

Executive Board (10th-12th Grade Only)

 🔹 President – Leads all meetings, represents STUCO at events, and works closely with school administration.

🔹 Vice President – Assists the President, oversees committees, and steps in when the President is absent.

 🔹 Secretary – Records meeting minutes, manages communication, and helps with event organization.

🔹 Historian – Documents STUCO activities through photos and social media.

🔹 Parliamentarian – Ensures meetings follow parliamentary procedure and maintains order.

Class Officers (9th-12th Grade)

🔹 Class President (one per grade) – Represents their class in STUCO, leads class meetings, and helps plan events.

🔹 Class Representatives (max 4 per grade) – Assists the Class President and provides input on behalf of their grade level.
