Dr. Sunday Johnson
Dr. Price-Johnson is the assistant principal of the James Reese Career and Technical Center, where she is excited to celebrate the industry-based success of both students and staff. She values the partnership between JRCTC, the students, the home high school, the parents, and the community partners. Her passion lies in building relationships with students while encouraging their well-being, guiding their connection to the school community, and facilitating their transition into the real world as a productive citizen. Dr. Price-Johnson is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where everyone who enters is encouraged to “Own Your Impact”.
Dr. Price-Johnson’s career in education began in 1999 as a teacher and coach at Beaumont Central High School in Beaumont ISD. She moved to Houston in 2002 where she served as a teacher and instructional specialist at Alief Elsik High School. She transitioned to administration in Fort Bend ISD serving George Bush High School as an assistant principal, dean of instruction and associate principal. She has also served as the associate principal at Marshall High School, Crockett Middle School, and Sartartia Middle School.
Dr. Price-Johnson holds degrees from Xavier University of Louisiana, Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas A&M University in College Station. Outside of professional engagement, she is very proud of her children who are graduates of Fort Bend Austin High School. She also enjoys traveling, attending/viewing sporting events, and trying new restaurants with friends and family.
