Science Teacher | Head Girls Basketball Coach

Proudly born and raised in Victoria, TX, I am a graduate of Victoria Memorial High School. My journey continued at Blinn Junior College and the University of the Incarnate Word, where I was blessed to play collegiate basketball and earn my Bachelor of Science degree.

With over 16 years of experience in education, I’ve taught biology, aquatic science, and a range of other science courses—but more importantly, I’ve had the privilege of helping students grow both academically and personally. Now in my fifth year at Elkins High School, I’m honored to be part of a campus that thrives on energy, excellence, and community. Every day here is an opportunity to inspire and be inspired.

Beyond the classroom, I proudly serve as the Head Girls Basketball Coach. Coaching gives me the chance to pour into young athletes—teaching them discipline, teamwork, and resilience both on and off the court.

Outside of school, I’m a wife and proud mom. My husband, Jarvis, and I have been married for over 13 years, and together we’re raising our three amazing daughters: Jordin, Jessiah, and Journee.
