Hello, Travis Tiger Families!

Welcome to the 2024–2025 school year! My name is Ms. Laura Cordova, and I’m thrilled to be your child’s Algebra 1 teacher. This marks my fourth year as part of the incredible Travis Tiger family, and I’m also a proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie!

I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in math and grow into strong, independent "math thinkers." It’s a joy to watch them discover their potential and develop a love for learning.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling and giving back through service projects with my Rotary family in District 5890. I’m especially proud to sponsor our campus’s Interact Club, where students can get involved in meaningful community service.

As a fellow Rotarian, I will also be one of the managing teachers for the Interact Club on campus. While discovering the power of "Service Above Self", our interactors will develop leadership skills, create a lasting impact on our community, make global friendships, and linked to other opportunities like RYLA Camp, Rotaract, scholarships, and much more. So if you are interested in joining, please email me and come to an interest meeting held in August and September.
