I would like to welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year! My name is Laura Contreras, and I am delighted to be your child’s 4^th grade Math/Science teacher. It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures! 

I was born and raised in Texas and earned my Bachelor of Science at Texas A&M University College Station in 2008. This will be my third year teaching at Palmer Elementary.

My husband, Leon, and I have been married for 14 years now, and we have 2 handsome boys. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, running and doing CrossFit.
