I have been a music teacacher at Neill since we opened and I LOVE being a Longhorn!  I began working with students when I was in college, teaching private lessons and working with marching bands at local schools. I have taught students of all ages – from Kindergarten through College. I have been a lifelong musician since I started taking piano in the first grade. I was very active in band and continued on to march in drum and bugle corps over the summer and participate in marching band while in college. I have toured the country and performed with music groups and professional symphonies. I have a Music and Business degree from the University of Oklahoma, a Masters in Percussion Performance and my teaching certificate from Texas Tech University. Before teaching, I worked in the Music Industry doing marketing and public relations for a drum stick and mallet manufacturer. I worked with performers and educators of all levels and designed products to use in the classroom.
