Hello and welcome!
I’m so excited to be your child’s Math & Science teacher this year! My goal is to create a classroom filled with curiosity, encouragement, and a love for learning. I’m passionate about education and can’t wait to build strong connections with each of my students.

This is my second FULL year at Neill Elementary. I previously taught third grade here and recently transitioned back to second grade—where my heart truly feels at home! I’ve spent nine wonderful years teaching in LCISD, working with students in kindergarten, first, second, and sixth grades. After a brief adventure into entrepreneurship—my family launched a bakery franchise and a start-up company—I realized that teaching has always been my true calling. We sold our shares, and I joyfully returned to the classroom, where I belong.

Originally from sunny San Diego, California, I moved to Richmond in 2007. I’ve been happily married for 21 years, and we have two amazing children, two lovable dogs, and one curious cat.

Fun fact: As a child, I dreamed of performing in Broadway musicals or becoming a cast member of Saturday Night Life!                        One of my most meaningful bucket list experiences was visiting Anne Frank’s home in Amsterdam.
