Hello! I am so excited to kick off this school year as I begin my 11th year as an elementary educator. I feel incredibly blessed to be here, and I am looking forward to another year of learning and growth with my students.

I was born and raised in Mexico and moved to the U.S. as a teenager. For the past 25+ years, I have called the Richmond area home. I’m married and a proud parent of two high school-aged sons. I graduated from the University of Houston Victoria, and throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of teaching a variety of subjects in second and fifth grades, including bilingual education.

Outside of the classroom, I’m an avid lover of the outdoors. I enjoy spending my free time gardening, fishing, traveling, building, and working on home improvement projects.

I’m thrilled to be part of this vibrant community, the Longhorn family, and the amazing Fifth Grade Team. This year is sure to be fantastic, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together!
